If you have enrolled with Prestons' College, you should have received an email that contains a welcome and introduction from the course leaders for the course - you have to accept your place before you continue! The links are below.
Application process
Young people are able to apply for a course at the college using the online application form which can be found on the college's website at: Online Application - Preston's College. For more information on making an application, please email applications@preston.ac.uk.
Selection process
Enrolment will be online only this year.

Course information
All learners who have been interviewed and offered a place will receive a link to the college's Sprint Start platform. Their chosen subject area will cover staff introductions, more careers information about the subject and pre course learning and competitions.
Learners who need support with career choices have the opportunity to call the engagement and careers team for 1:1 support on 01772 225482.
This will be ongoing throughout the next term, into the summer and beyond enrolment.

Resources to prepare for Year 12
The college will hold a Year 11 welcome evening, which is an opportunity to invite all new year 11s who have been offered a place to attend a session with curriculum staff. After the evening, learners will receive their Sprint Start link and have access to pre course work and competitions.
The college's Virtual Open Events platform allows learners to access the college offer by curriculum and subject area as well as information about A Level Extra, Scholarships, Bursary applications and Support. There are also links for parental support and access to the college engagement and recruitment team.

Further information, guidance and support
All learners who have been offered a place will receive an Enrolment Guide which indicates important information in preparation for enrolment. In addition, enrolment accounts are active and learners are able to log onto these in preparation for enrolment in August. This has been supported by an instruction video.
The recruitment and engagement team are on hand for any support needed. Communications continue to support learners in preparation for enrolment and the transition into college, via, text, email, letter.

Information on student finance
The college has access to a number of bursary funds aimed at supporting learners with specific financial difficulties which may prevent them from taking part in learning. Eligibility for the funds will be based on household income and recent evidence of this must be submitted with your application. Bursary applications can be made online and staff are on hand by phone and email to offer support and guidance with the process.
